Spirit-ed Mini Album

Photobucket

This week's challenge at FaithSisters is sponsored by Making Memories. They very kindly sent us a wonderful package of goodies to work with- and are sponsoring an RAK for the winner of the challenge. Definitely come on over and join in- yo might even win!

For my album, I made an acrylic album, featuring our fur babies. You might recognize the Scripture:

Here is a verse from the Bible to remember: the fruit of the Spirit is... love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self control. Against such things, there is no law, Gal 5:22"

Live

Photobucket

Just a quick post and then I am off for the day...literally!! We are closed, and we are going shopping- woo-hoo!! So....For the word this week, I chose a 'motto', more or less. This is actually part of a verse, and was used in reference to Christ. I have decided to make it a life prayer, however. "I have come to do your will, oh Lord," HB 10:7 I tell you what- it's just not a bad mantra.... You guys have a great day, and a blessed holiday!!

Grace

Photobucket

OK- I am starting with this one- but only cause I got a bit behind. Was crazy busy last week with other project...but will have to wait to show you most of those, deign team- *wink*- stuff.

For this card, I DOVE into the fun new Animal Crackers line from Making Memories. You may remember, I won a package of these yummies during CHA. This is just too cute- and fun to play with! I chose the verse: "For it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith, and this not of yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast," Eph 2:8-9

Ladybug Thoughts

Photobucket

I was playing with flocking with this card...and had alot of fun. A great tip I read somewhere- don't use glue, use your adhesive runner. Just run it over the area you want flocked, add the flock, tap it in good, and shake off excess. It really is cleaner, and covers a lot better!!

Anyway- the paper for this is DCWV and Sizzix, Ribbon is Ribbon FX, and piecing is mine. Flocked the dots and head on the ladybug.
